CORDIAL INVITATION
EUROPEAN CHARLEMAGNE PRIZE SUMMIT 2023
Dear Sir or Madam,
In anticipation of the upcoming European Parliament elections in spring 2024 and the pressing future challenges facing Europe’s citizens, this year’s European Charlemagne Prize Summit intends to pave the way for a lively public debate on the configuration of the European Union. How can the EU successfully admit new member states whilst maintaining its operational efficiency? How can peace be restored on the continent and a sustainable security order be established? What steps are required to ensure a humanitarian migration and asylum policy? How should the EU address the challenges of the digital and green transformations to maintain its long-term competitiveness?
The International Charlemagne Prize Foundation of Aachen and the Minister for Fed-eral and European Affairs, International Relations, and Media of North Rhine-West-phalia invite you to join the discussion at the
